A Farewell Message from Principal Rehak
Dear Aronimink Families,
It is with mixed emotions that I share that I have accepted a position as an elementary principal in the Rose Tree Media School District. This decision is truly bittersweet, as it means saying goodbye to a school and community that have meant so much to me.
For the past 21 years, I have had the privilege of serving the Upper Darby School District as a teacher, lead teacher, and principal. Throughout that time, I have been surrounded by dedicated, talented, and caring colleagues who have inspired me every day. Our staff’s commitment to students and to one another is something I will always admire and carry with me.
I am especially grateful for our students, whose curiosity, energy, and kindness make this work so meaningful. They remind me daily why I chose this profession. I have also been deeply touched by the unwavering support of our families and community, even as we’ve navigated challenges such as construction, renovation, and a school merger. Together, we have built something truly special and will continue well after my departure.
While I am excited to begin this new chapter, I will always treasure the relationships, experiences, and memories I’ve made here. I want to express my sincere appreciation for the trust, partnership, and kindness you have shown me throughout the years.
Thank you for allowing me the honor of serving this incredible school community. We still have lots of learning and fun ahead! I look forward to enjoying my remaining time with our school community.
Always Royal,
Josh Rehak, Principal
